{Danielle}

Danielle has been a good friend of mine for over 9 years. We have been through ups and downs in the last few years! I am really blessed to have a friend like her who has really stuck by my side when I wasn't always the best friend back. She is smart, caring and funny. We had such a good time with her session! Driving around finding neat places to shoot, laughing about the past. I enjoy my "job" so much.

Used Sandpaper Art

While I was sanding our floor I really wanted to save the sandpaper and do something with it! I just couldn't think of what to do with it. So a few weeks later Matt was helping me move furniture from one room to the other so I could stain the other bedroom floor, anyway the stack of sandpaper was there and I told him I wanted to keep it for something, he told me I should throw it away because we didn't need it and we could always get more. (and really he was right! we already have too much stuff) so he convinced me to toss it in the trash. It's a little embarrassing  to say I took the stack out when he left and hid it in the closet. :-/ When Maffle got home, from visiting family in Idaho, we started brainstorming ideas for the sandpaper. So this is what we came up with. I am really REALLY happy with it. :-)

We glued the sandpaper to a piece of cardboard we cut out.

And here it is hanging over Maffle's bed.

Tool Box Herb Garden

Our best friends, Matt and Tessa, collectors of random, so called "vintage" junk had this awesome old tool box they were going to sell at their garage sale last month, that is until I snatched it up :) Now it's holding my herb garden.

First, not pictured, I drilled some holes in the bottom so the plants wouldn't have to learn how to swim. Next, dirt!

Some seeds.

Basil!

Oregano from last years garden.

Our nephew Vaden came out to enjoy the beautiful morning with us.

From the Land of 10,000 Lakes

Feah and Maffle
ONCE upon a time in a beautiful land far away, well not very far (just Minnesota), lived two sisters who loved to do all sorts of projects together. They remodeled their bedroom (with help from additional sisters) then moved to the next bedroom. They decorated their room with items made (or improved) by their own hands, taking recycled materials and making them into new creations.
Well, enough with the fairy tale, here we are, that's us ^.
